Paul remains the opposite of dead.

Via BeatlesNews.com, and the Orlando Sentinel, I've gotten wind that Paul McCartney is playing the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on April 19-- and that 4,000 tickets sold out in seven seconds.

There are two problems here.

1. Paul is playing in Las Vegas instead of in Boston, where he should be playing.

2. Even if he ever DOES play Boston, I clearly will have to kill and/or sleep with someone powerful to get a ticket. (Not that I'm not willing to do it. It's just that my schedule is already so packed, you know?)

It's all very groovy that a 67-year-old who happens to have an extremely awesome new album out can sell out a show this quickly. But for the love of Christ. Will I ever get to see Paul live again?

Paul: Please come to Boston? Please? Pleeeeeeeeazze? (And reserve me a front-row backstage pass while you're at it?)
